Affordable Luxury Brands

Luxury brands create products in a limited amount, making them exclusive and one of the ways of justifying the high price. The products are discontinued after a while to make space for newer, exclusive products for the season, and so on. This is one of the reasons why many consider products from luxury brands to be a sound investment, as they are limited, expensive, well made, rare and nearly impossible to come across once production and distribution is discontinued. So they cannot be cheap. Affordable simply means luxury products at a reasonable price, not necessarily cheap, as that would lead to mass production and damage the tag of limited and exclusivity which many people crave. Many luxury brands are also moving towards streetwear instead of only focusing towards formal wear, so luxury brands are a lot more visible and appear accessible. Here are some luxury brands with affordable prices:

  • Ted Baker London – The brand mainly focuses on men and women clothing, perfumes, bags, and shoes. The most impressive aspect of Ted Baker is that it has expanded exponentially without the traditional advertising tools. The brand produces a lot of streetwear and bags.

  • Lacoste – The brand was founded by a French Tennis player and focuses on active wear for women and men, alongside dresses, shoes, bags, sweaters, and polos. The crocodile logo on polo shirts is one of the most recognizable logos in the world. Lacoste may simply appear to focus on casual wear, but they offer a large variety of formal wear as well, like coats and dresses.
  • Kate Spade New York – This brand focuses exclusively on women’s clothing, bags, perfumes, knitwear, accessories, and shoes. This is one of the most famous brand names in the world and is better known for their bags, shoes, and accessories, as compared to the clothes. This is why the clothes are priced reasonably.

These brands are a good place to start in finding luxury wear that is reasonably affordable and worth the investment. It’s key to remember the benefits of such purchases are often long term use as opposed to the short-term use you usually get out of cheap, mass produced wear.
