As 2018 comes to an end, there are certain important things to keep in mind before you we start 2019. Never forget that no matter what, this year doesn’t define you. Perhaps you made some mistakes that you regret, and that this year wasn’t your best yet.
That’s ok, because you, like all of us, are human. Remember that you are so much more than your bad days, and that you always have the potential for better. Remember, just as you will with all of your victories, the defeats. They might have closed some doors for you, but maybe they were the very push you needed to get you into the right direction. Embrace all the moments, for better or for worse.
Remember all the people that stood by your side through thick and thin, and that they will continue to this year. Take them time to show your appreciation for them and hold them close.
Even if you don’t feel like you accomplished as much as you planned for this year, you surely have accomplished more than you know. Never sell yourself short, any step forward means so much.
If this year was rough for you, remember that this is not the end, it’s actually really far from it. There is so much potential ahead of you, and there will be so many opportunities out there when you least expect it.
Remember that next year will fly by, so make sure to make the most of every precious moment.
