We are at the end of this year’s award season. Yesterday, May 11th, 2021, the Brit Awards took place in London, giving the music industry’s finest another opportunity to pull out all the stops on the red carpet. Fully understanding and taking on the mission, stars such as Taylor Swift and Rina Sawayama arrived at London’s O2 Arena dressed in beautiful and epic looks. It seems that after a year, these stars were anxious to make up for the lost time after a year of largely virtual awards ceremonies. So, without further ado, here are some of our favorite looks from last night’s ceremony.

Perrie Edwards chose a matching white two-piece with off-the-shoulder Bardot sleeves gorgeous floor-length white skirt by David Koma, and Jade Thirlwall glowed in a figure-hugging, strapless Vivienne Westwood number.

Making history at the BRIT Awards, Rina Sawyama managed to receive a nomination in the Rising Star category after being previously ineligible for the award because she doesn’t hold a British passport. The rules were recently changed after she spoke out about the selection criteria and a wave of support from fans saw #SawayamaisBritish trending online. The singer looked stunning on the red carpet in a tiered, ruffled ensemble from Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2019 couture collection. Leaning into the ethereal look, Sawayama wore her hair slicked completely to the back with ornate accessories that complimented the dramatic look.

Swift is known for her Easter eggs, so make what you will about what the look says about her next album re-releases.
