Find The Magic In Everyday Life

As children, magic came so much easier to us, we would see the magic in everyone around us, we would feel the magic in the sounds of the birds in the trees, in our grandmother’s bedtime stories. But then eventually, unfortunately, we lose it.

We start to always look for the next best thing, without realizing that the real gems are actually right in front of us.  Society has managed to convince us that we were never enough, and never had enough, and in turn, we stopped feeling all the incredible magic around us.

We all feel that way here and there, right?  Well, it’s too bad that that’s become the case, but we can change that.

Start to see the magical moments found throughout your day.  Forget about the friends that only care about material, shiny items, and focus on the ones that see all the colors of your shimmering heart.  Look out onto the lonely moon on a dark night and let it guide you with it’s light.

Wake up at sunrise and smell the fresh green morning, breathe in the fresh air before everyone else and run with your hair blowing in the wind until your lungs can’t take it anymore.  This is your body, your heart, and your life. No one can take that away from you.

And if you don’t know what you want in life, then start out by finding out what you don’t want.  Don’t ever settle for anything less than what you truly deserve, and continue to always question life and what you’re doing.

Always believe in yourself, trust the process of life, trust love, and believe in your faith.  Allow yourself to cry and truly feel. Acknowledge and accept the pain, but then figure out how to put it away. Appreciate the small things in life and stop waiting for huge things to happen.

When we were children, magic was everywhere to be found. Well, it never went away, nothing in the universe ever changed, it’s always been there. All you need to do is figure out how to find it again.
