Are you feeling a tad bit lost in this big world? If yes, then you should know that you are definitely not the only person. There are thousands of people who oftentimes feel lost or well without purpose in the world. This is a completely normal thing to feel especially in your early 20s. Trying to find your purpose can really be a life-changing experience because of how much goes into it. Finding your purpose is not like finding a new job or hobby. There is a whole lot more that goes into it which is why it is such an intense experience.
With that said, you need to cut yourself a break. This means that you need to realize that you are only one person and that things can’t be done in one day. You may want to have your life all figured out in a day or two because you want instant gratification but you need to realize that all good things take time. So you shouldn’t feel disappointed or let down if things aren’t all figured out. Once you make peace with that then you will be able to start working on finding your purpose or true calling. Simply remember that everything takes time.
The first thing you need to keep in mind when searching for your purpose would be your likes, dislikes, and interests. This will require some time and effort on your part. You may even need to take some time to actually do this. Now, this may seem like a really unnecessary step but it will really help you answer some questions. You have to understand that finding your purpose means finding your passion and knowing what you enjoy and don’t enjoy will make this much easier. Now sometimes you will need to actually get up and experience new things in order to find your passions.
