Are you easily ignored in a group setting? Well don’t worry, you are not alone. That’s right, there are many people who find it hard to speak or be noticed in a group setting. The first thing you need to know is that this does not mean that there is anything wrong with you. All it means is that you have to work on finding your voice. Now we know that you can speak but finding your voice means much more than speaking. Finding your voice can be a difficult process however that does not mean that it can’t be done.
What first comes to mind when you think about finding your voice? Are you scared, do you think it is impossible? Whatever it is that you are thinking, throw it out of the window. You see, finding your voice simply speaks to your confidence in group settings. Now we understand that you may be confident in groups of two or three, but when placed in larger groups, your voice simply disappears. This is actually more common than you may think. You see confidence and comfort go hand in hand. So it’s understandable that you lose your confidence when you are uncomfortable.
