Most people prefer to keep it simple at meal times, especially dinner after a long and eventful day. Recipes that are easy to follow and do not have a million complicated little steps are the go-to during meal times however, it is a general misconception that healthy dinners are the exact opposite of easy and simple and require a lot of time and energy, which most people cannot afford at the end of a long day. Here are some ideas which allow you to put a healthy dinner on the table quickly.
Stuffed sweet potatoes – these are packed with nutrients like vitamin C, potassium, and fiber, and go well with almost anything. You can either roast them or boil them and serve them while they are hot!
Dinner salad – salads can be very filling if made with the intention, and of course, the easiest and quickest recipe there is. In a filling and healthy dinner salad, make sure to put a lot of protein, healthy fats, and fiber. Start with your favorite greens like spinach, cauliflower, cabbage, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, chili, and onions. Then choose a protein source like boiled eggs, fish, or grilled chicken. You can even add some roasted sweet potatoes and add a healthy dressing like olive oil or vinegar.

Brown rice pasta – Add a source of protein to the pasta of your choice, like chicken or chickpeas. Then, add some veggies of your choice, like spinach or broccoli. Lastly, pick a sauce to have the ultimate protein and fiber-rich, quick pasta recipe.
Burgers – when done right, burgers can be one of your healthiest choices, as they can be made from any protein source like beef, chicken, or fish. You can serve your burgers on a healthy whole-grain bun and green salad.
