How long have you been dating your partner? Wait here’s a better question, how long have you been living with your partner? If it is anything over 4 years, you will notice that things start to fill boring and predictable unlike when you first started dating or when you first started living together. Now before you start panicking, this doesn’t mean that you aren’t in love anymore, it simply means that you need to find new ways to spice up your relationship.

Whether you or your partner start to find your relationship boring or bland, there are things you can do. The first of which would be to address each other’s love languages. You see love languages are ways in which we prefer to receive and show love. This can include acts of service, touch, gifts and so much more. Knowing your partner’s love language can really turn your relationship around. You will notice that they will even start to light up more. The main reason why your relationship was so full of spice, in the beginning, was because you were constantly doing new things to get to know each other.

So why not take things back to the beginning? This simply means going on adventures and trying out new things together. There are probably a number of different activities you and your partner have been dying to try. This can include diving, painting, hiking, or even a cooking class. It can really be anything. Lastly, it is very important to be consistent. If you start something today and forget about it next week, you instantly break that new connection. Now you don’t want your relationship to seem scheduled because where’s the fun in that right. But being consistent in what you do simply means making time for it. Remember you are trying to spice up your relationship so you need to make it a priority.
