Have you ever heard the saying, “don’t be a crybaby”? Chances are you have. We all have. You year it when you go your entire life hearing it. Now not to get all psychological, but hearing that all your life can make you feel insecure about your emotions. Mainly the one that causes you to cry. If you are someone who doesn’t feel sadness or well cry, then that’s okay. However, if you do, it doesn’t mean that you should feel insecure or awful just because you are feeling an emotion. Instead, you should allow yourself to be sad and let it out

We often feel sad when we lose something. This could stem from a number of things which includes your career, family relationships, and friendships. You can also feel sadness when things don’t go as planned. In fact, there are many people who feel sad because they are frustrated. So do you let it out or keep it in? Well, the simple answer is to let yourself feel your feelings. This means allowing yourself to feel sad and cry if you have to. Allowing yourself to be sad means that you are recognizing your feelings and addressing them.

You should also know that sadness doesn’t have to be curling up in a corner. Everyone feels sadness differently. Therefore, you may have a different reaction. Now suppressing your sadness can have a few negative side effects. This includes feeling overwhelmed, angry and frustrated to name a few. You can avoid all these things by doing something really simple. Feel your feelings, feel your sadness. Letting it out will make you feel lighter and much happier. Yes, it doesn’t seem like that right now, but a few days after, you will be so glad that you took the time to allow yourself to feel sad.
