The Right Way To Say Goodbye

We are faced with many goodbyes in life. They can be the most emotional goodbyes of your life like your high school or college graduation where you say goodbye to your friends when you say goodbye to your parents the day you move out, and then again say goodbye to them when you get married. They can also be smaller goodbyes that seem utterly insignificant to you. Like when you say goodbye to your friends when you are leaving a party, or even saying good night via text is a kind of goodbye.

Regardless of the kind of goodbye that you are doing, there is a right way to say goodbye and you should make sure you follow it at every goodbye. Whenever you are at the point of saying goodbye, you need to keep in mind the possibility of never being able to see them again. You would never want to be on bad terms with someone when you are thinking of the possibility of never being able to see them again. When you think of things in that way, grudges simply do not seem worth it. If you have issues with someone, you are better off discussing them while you are still face-to-face.

The moment you part ways, you never know if you are going to get a chance to forgive him or her. At the same time, you need to make sure your more meaningful goodbyes are indicative of how much the other person means to you and how much you love him or her. Of course, you won’t be writing out big speeches every day but when you are going away for a long time, then it might be a good chance to let your emotions run wild and show your love to the people you are leaving behind.
