We all know how good it is to eat fiber. After all, it is an important part of a healthy diet. With all the different types of foods available and with fiber being part of a number of different food, it’s easy to get confused about what are good fibers and what isn’t so good. But that’s what we are here to find out. Don’t worry, we know that buying healthy food can be pretty pricey but these fibers won’t be breaking your bank.
This may come as a surprise but there are in fact vegetables that you probably already eat that contain fiber. This includes vegetables such as broccoli. All it takes is 9 cups of broccoli for you to reach your recommendation of fiber intake. If you aren’t too keen on broccoli you can opt for green peas. With green peas, all you need is 3 cups to reach your daily fiber intake. But wait those aren’t the only vegetable you can eat, there are more, much more. You can also get your daily fiber intake by eating acorn squash. To get the fiber you need, all you will need to do is eat at least 3 cups of acorn squash.

Another great vegetable you are artichokes. You will need to eat 4 artichokes to get the fiber you need. Many people aren’t too keen on vegetables but that’s where fruits come in. You might notice that you already eat these fruits so upping your intake won’t be a problem. Do you enjoy avocado on toast? Well, then you are in luck. To get the fiber you need, you will need to eat at least 3 avocados a day. If you are looking for a more fruity fruit, you can go with raspberries. You will need to eat at least 2 cups of raspberries or you can opt for 6 cups of strawberries. Do keep in mind that you don’t have to eat any of these items all in one go. You can actually spread it out throughout the day, better yet eat them as snacks in between meals.
