Breaking another heart can be just as heartbreaking as having our own broken. And it’s important to always remember that you are allowed to feel pain too. If you feel perfectly fine? That’s also alright. There is no right or wrong way to feel when it comes to breaking a heart. All emotions are perfectly valid and can’t be denied.
Perhaps some people may be angry and frustrated with you, but it doesn’t mean that you didn’t do the right thing for yourself. If you’ve decided to break up with someone, then that’s because it was what you needed to do. Don’t let a guilt trip make you second guess yourself. Your happiness must come first.
It’s not your fault that your relationship didn’t work out, so please – stop blaming yourself. Some people simply just do not belong together, and that’s alright. Always remember that you are not a bad person for breaking their heart.
You did the right thing, and it would have been worse to have stayed in a lie. They may be hurting right now, but the pain will pass, and they will heal.
Love can’t be forced. You’re allowed to leave a relationship that isn’t working, and it doesn’t make you a bad person.
