Your Body Knows

Recently, one of my best friends started working at a new job. As most, if not all of us, know, starting at a new job is a very nerve-wracking and stressful event. Ever since she started working at the new place, all I’ve heard from her were complaints. Unsurprisingly, her body followed suit.

I’ve always been a firm believer that our soul and body are connected. Once we feel something inside, even if we think this is just ours and no one will ever know, our bodies will prove us wrong. Even if we want to keep something to ourselves, our body goes ahead and shouts it from the rooftops.

Now, circling back to my friend. After a while at her new job, her outside picked up the paste of her inside. Suddenly, an awful rash appeared all over her hands; she also complained of being a lot more tired and drained, feeling as if she has no strength. When we would meet up, you could tell how tired she was, as she barely communicates.

Even if it doesn’t seem this way, everything within us is connected. Our mind, body, and soul, are one. Things that we think will ever remain only in the back of our minds or deep in our souls, will suddenly appear on our bodies.

Take care of yourself, and be at peace with every part of you – mind, body, and soul.
